About Us

Mystic Roots - an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa, is located at 287 Division Street in Cobourg directly across from the Trinity United Church. Our mission is to provide a peaceful fun environment, which promotes wellness as beauty. The only product we use is Aveda: A pure flower and plant essence that is 97% natural. The next comparable line on the global market is 29% natural.

We offer a full service hair salon specializing in hair colour to compliment your individual look. Every client receives a cup of Comforting Tea or spa water and a personal consultation to make sure their needs are met, as well as a stress relieving treatment for the scalp or hands, and a make-up touch up with each service. A complete esthetics area offering full and half day spas, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and an in house Registered Massage Therapist and student of Osteopathy all are here to help de-stress you from your busy lifestyle and feel pampered.

Mystic Roots has Yoga and Pilates available in our workshop space, which also is available for rent.

We host The Healing Place. This is a group of volunteers offering their services to assist people on their journey with cancer. They meet the second Monday of every month at Mystic Roots.

Our entire team helps to support our community with many fundraising events, giving their time and efforts to raise monies for Big Sisters and Big Brothers, Chernobyl Kids, Northumberland Women's Shelter and Alderville Women's Shelter, The Wellness Initiative and The Canadian Environmental Defense fund.
